'This is the story of Suzy Sue who had something very important to do.' So begins this super picture book about a little girl whose potty gets nicked. Whatever is she going to do? It's the farm animals who have taken it, and one by one they use the potty just as it should be used and are terribly proud of the new hygiene regime on the farm. When, in desperation, Suzy Sue goes behind a bush to do the necessary, the animals are horrified: 'Haven't you learnt...or have you forgotten...always poo with a poo-pot under your bottom.' The problem has been one of semantics, with Suzy calling her pot a potty, and the animals thinking of it as a poo-pot! She is delighted to find her potty again, and presumably the animals continue to use it as well! Or maybe not..... Glorious, bright pictures fill the pages and make this simple story, full of repetition, a real winner.
